27 Weeks - and my 27th Birthday!        This week was very busy! My birthday was this week and we celebrated with some tasty food and wonderful cupcakes from Cupcakes a La Mode (check out the picture below). Then on Friday, I had a routine doctor's visit. I am seeing the doctor every 2 weeks now. Everything looked great, but I did have to do the glucose tolerance test at this visit which involved drinking some pretty gross glucola and having my blood drawn. I should get the results back next week -- hope I passed! Then on Saturday, we had our 3D ultrasound. She was absolutely adorable! She wasn't super cooperative, but she did let use get a few good shots of her face. She was very much into sucking on her hands and using her hands to cover her face. Then she decided she could just turn her face away and hide against the wall. At the end of the visit she finally turned all the way over and just let us look at her back. She was done being messed around with. Technology is amazing! I'm officially on Christmas break and we are looking forward to relaxing and spending time with family. We have most of the nursery decor done but are waiting on a few important things -- hopefully we'll get those taken care of before I have to go back to school. I'll post pictures as soon as we get it all complete. I can't believe we have less than 3 months left! |
